Burbank's Information and Spirit (IS) News Team is comprised of 4th and 5th grade scholars who assume the roles as reporters, technicians, and writers.  The students produce a weekly news broadcast every Friday morning to the entire school.  The purpose is to highlight events that have occurred throughout the week as well as teach rules and procedures about common areas and playground equipment to both staff and students.  The team meets every Monday after school to plan for the week's events and Friday's broadcast under the direction of Mr. Hackney and Mr. Biscocho.
